Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that the internet is a really, really big place. We all have our favorite sites that we visit daily, but for every major website, there are countless more that are increasingly obscure. So for today’s #WebsiteWednesday, we are highlighting a site that you can literally spend hours on, but may never have come across otherwise –

As soon you visit, it’s clear that the site is as unique as its domain name. It automatically starts playing obscure videos and, depending on the key you press, the video either goes to a different point or changes all together. This in and of itself is enough to provide several hours of intriguing entertainment. However, after playing around with the website for a bit and looking through the menus, things start to make more sense., which was recently featured on Vice’s Motherboard, is actually a video DJing tool developed by Point in Passing, an art and design collective based out of Brooklyn, NY. The videos are all curated from the less trodden paths of YouTube, and each row of keys controls a different video and its time markers. This allows VJs and DJs (and you) to manipulate up to 4 videos to music tracks of your choosing, making an already amusing platform even more entertaining.

One of our favorite things to do at XYZ is being able to find creative new sites like, who are breaking the mold and do things in a different way. It goes to show you that no matter how distinct your idea is, .xyz truly is for every website, everywhere.
