How do I unlock my domain for transfer?
In order to transfer your domain, you need to remove the registrar lock before you start a transfer at your new registrar.
This customer-controlled lock is called "registrar lock" and it is a security measure that prevents unauthorized domain transfers.

To unlock your domain for transfer, follow these steps:
1. Log into your account at Gen.xyz
2. Select "Manage" next to the domain you wish to unlock
3. Scroll down to the "Registrar Lock" section and select "Disable Registrar Lock"
In the "Registrar Lock" section on your domain, the "Registrar Lock Status" should change from "Enabled" to "Disabled." When the status reads "Disabled" then your domain is unlocked.
