What is ICANN’s new domain transfer policy?
You may be familiar with waiting 60 days after registering a domain in order to transfer it. To protect you from fraud and domain hijacking, the new policy also requires that you wait 60 days after any contact information (WHOIS) changes to transfer your domain.
You will be made aware of any WHOIS changes through a series of approval and confirmation emails.
