Axone.xyz is the online home of Axone Protocol, a project developing an orchestration and governance layer for agent-based AI workflows. According to the project’s public materials, Axone is designed to coordinate how AI agents reference resources, follow predefined rules, and settle values when workflows are executed. The protocol focuses on describing resources through structured metadata, validating permissions on-chain, and enabling off-chain execution under those rules.
Within the AI landscape, Axone positions itself around coordination challenges that emerge when multiple models, datasets, and services interact. The project describes a framework where shared semantics (ontology), rule-based governance, and economic settlement work together to support multi-agent workflows. Rather than storing data or models directly, Axone references resources and enforces consent and policy conditions, which can help AI systems interact while keeping underlying resources where they already reside.
Axone is co-founded by Emmanuel Aldeguer, who has worked on the project since 2018. Emmanuel is also a co-founder of Dataionics, a company focused on routing and orchestrating large volumes of satellite data for use in AI systems. Technical development at Axone is led by Christophe Camel, the project’s CTO and co-founder, who brings experience in open-source development and distributed infrastructure, including work within the Cosmos ecosystem.
