In this week’s #AIMonday, we’ll introduce you to a platform using artificial intelligence to make language learning more natural through conversation and community: Loqu.xyz.
Loqu.xyz is the online home of Loqu, a language exchange platform that integrates artificial intelligence into community-based learning. According to the website, Loqu is “AI-supercharged” and designed to make language practice more natural by helping users express thoughts in their target language and learn from AI-generated corrections. The app combines feed-based communication with AI tools so that learners can post in their chosen language, receive feedback, and interact with other users. The app is free to use and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
According to Loqu.xyz, the platform uses a social feed format where users view and respond to content in their selected learning language. The app provides real-time feedback through AI language correction and encourages users to engage in bilingual exchanges rather than one-sided lessons. Community guidelines shared on the website emphasize respectful and constructive communication. Loqu describes its philosophy as “Start messy. Loqu AI will clean it up—and you’ll learn from it,” highlighting an approach that aims to make learning an ongoing and interactive process. Loqu is available for both iOS and Android.
As shared on LinkedIn, Wanseob Lim is the Founder and CEO of Loqu, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation with operations based in South Korea. Wanseob is based in South Korea and has experience in engineering, cryptography, and artificial intelligence. Before founding Loqu, he served as Technical Lead at the Ethereum Foundation’s Privacy & Scaling Explorations division, where he authored Zkopru, a privacy-focused Ethereum Layer-2 protocol. His career also includes roles as CTO at Unopnd (Hashed’s venture studio), advisor to Krust Universe (formerly Kakao’s blockchain arm), and founder of Ethcon Korea. Earlier, he co-founded an AI robotics startup that built conversational AI products supported by $31M in funding.
