In this week’s #AIMonday, we’ll introduce you to an AI-powered trading intelligence platform designed to help traders analyze financial markets using structured, real-time data: TrueNorth.xyz.
TrueNorth.xyz is the online home of TrueNorth, an AI-powered trading intelligence platform designed to help traders research financial markets. According to the company, the platform combines AI with market data to analyze assets across cryptocurrency, equities, commodities, and prediction markets. In December 2025, TrueNorth announced a $3M pre-seed funding round led by venture firm CyberFund, with participation from crypto-focused investor Delphi Labs, trading firm SNZ, market maker GSR, and investment firm Ocular.1 The round followed a $1M angel round in June 2025 that included participation from Delphi Labs.2
According to the documentation, TrueNorth integrates more than 40 real-time market data sources, including data aggregator CoinGecko, DeFi analytics platform DeFiLlama, decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, prediction market platform Polymarket, crypto analytics platform CoinAnk, derivatives exchange Deribit, and centralized exchanges. The platform is designed to help traders identify opportunities, research individual assets, and analyze factors such as liquidation heatmaps, price action, correlations, statistical probabilities, and technical indicators. The documentation also states that TrueNorth provides structured outputs for trade planning, including suggested entry, stop-loss, and take-profit levels, while maintaining contextual memory throughout a user’s trading workflow.
TrueNorth was co-founded by Willy Chuang and Alex Lee. According to the company’s online documentation, Willy previously founded tech company Prefuture Technology Limited and later served as COO and acting CEO of cryptocurrency exchange WOO. Alex holds a PhD in AI and domain-specific computing from the University of Michigan and previously served as Vice President of Product, Strategy and Operations at AI company Enflame. The company notes that Alex has also worked as a technology investor at global investment company Temasek and as a consultant at global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
The company uses the TrueNorth.xyz domain as the home for its platform, documentation, and company information. With backing from CyberFund, Delphi Labs, and other investors, and a founding team with backgrounds spanning cryptocurrency exchanges and AI research, TrueNorth is part of a wave of technical ventures that have made .xyz the go-to domain ending for the deep tech community. The domain’s generic, industry-neutral nature positions the company to grow as its platform expands. True-North.xyz also points to TrueNorth.xyz, meaning anyone who enters either domain name will reach the same destination.
