Building risk infrastructure across DeFi

According to the website, the lab’s work spans four core areas:

• Risk management: risk oversight services for DeFi protocols and institutional participants, covering the arc from initial assessment to ongoing monitoring.
• Data analytics and infrastructure: data pipelines, application programming interfaces (APIs, tools that let different software systems communicate), and dashboards designed to surface real-time information for clients.
• Incentive design and optimization: adjustments to token incentive programs and liquidity provisioning rewards intended to support protocol growth.

Before Allez Labs, Matt worked at Avara, the company behind DeFi lending protocol Aave. There, he served as a staff engineer and senior data scientist, following an earlier role as a data scientist at research and advisory firm Gartner, according to the Experience section of his LinkedIn profile.⁴ Khaled serves as CTO of Allez Labs. Before Allez Labs, Khaled worked as a senior analyst at blockchain analytics firm Block Analitica and as a quantitative researcher at Aave, as detailed in the Experience section of his LinkedIn profile.⁵
