This includes things like art, music, videos, or even personal data. Camp Network gives creators a way to register their work onchain, so it can be used to train AI while still keeping track of who owns what. The platform is built to help creators keep control, receive credit, and get paid when their content is reused. Once registered, IP can be licensed, remixed, or incorporated into AI workflows with terms defined by the contributors. All interactions with this content are transparently tracked, and royalty payouts are distributed automatically. This built-in incentive structure is designed to support collaborative and monetizable creative ecosystems. Developers can also launch dedicated app chains with isolated blockspace and compute, providing the scalability needed for high-performance applications.
According to its documentation, Camp Network’s infrastructure supports the deployment of AI agents through a system called mAItrix. These agents can be fine-tuned using the IP registered on Camp and generate derivative works or run task-specific workflows based on user input. Each agent interaction remains onchain, preserving transparency and attribution. The platform’s Proof of Provenance (PoP) protocol underpins this system, ensuring all content use is verifiable and traceable. Applications like RewardedTV have begun using Camp Network to register media content, license it for AI training, and distribute royalties back to contributors through the protocol’s gasless payout system.
Camp Network is co-founded by James Chi and Rahul Doraiswami. James serves as CEO and has stated in the press that the platform was created to address the disconnect between IP ownership and AI model training. Rahul, Camp Network’s CTO, emphasizes the importance of provenance as the foundation for training data quality. 2The team aims to align incentives between content contributors and AI agents by embedding traceable attribution and reward mechanisms directly into the protocol layer.
