They can now develop their brands and build the websites of their dreams. This week’s #WebsiteWednesday highlights a few standout Readymag users from around the world whose websites can serve as an inspiration for establishing your own online presence.
IsabellaBassi.xyz is the personal website of Berlin-based music composer, DJ, and tutor. Isabella shares much of her background on her About page, including her enthusiasm for music education and music therapy. She primarily composes Italo-Brazilian music, and says her work incorporates various techniques such as the use of a prepared electric guitar, which is a guitar that has had its timbre altered by placing objects on or between the instrument’s strings.
The Discography page showcases the music that Isabella releases under the name of Isabassi. There are eight tracks that you can click on and listen to, purchase, or share, like the drum-filled “Reverberations of Stone.” Isabella also shares links to her creative mentoring page, for electronic music enthusiasts who want to develop their creativity, and her electronic music lessons page for those wishing to learn the digital music software Ableton Live.
Isabella has taken care to provide samples of her compositions as well as ample background information about herself and her passion for music. Designing her website as an extension of herself can provide her visitors with more of a complete picture than simply providing music samples. Antiprotiv.xyz is the online home of Ukraine-based creative agency Antiprotiv. According to their About page, they “create a visual language that allows you to build close and effective relationships between brands and people.” This summer, just before launching Antiprotiv.xyz, the agency participated in Storm Club, an exciting and friendly competition for creatives in Ukraine’s capital city of Kiev where four teams are given a few hours to come up with an idea and make a presentation. Participants gather at various locations such as a park or a coworking space to come up with their winning ideas.
The team at Antiprotiv.xyz is focused on creating memorable advertising. They display their developing portfolio on their Work page, which includes the rebranding, strategy, and activation campaign for Noodle Doodle, a chain of Asian restaurants in Kiev. They detail the project by sharing their assigned task, imagery of their rebranding and design efforts, and how they conceptualized the new logo “Let’s not stress.”
By using their .xyz domain to neatly organize their creative portfolio, Antiprotiv.xyz’s desired audiences can be encouraged to experience their portfolio and connect for future work. You can learn more by following them on Instagram, Facebook, or by visiting Antiprotiv.xyz
