Stable.xyz – GoDaddy customer – (United States)
Developers use .xyz domains to launch forward-looking DeFi platforms. Fortune-featured stablecoin infrastructure Tempo.xyz introduces blockchain for digital payments. Financial infrastructure platform Velocity.xyz bridges traditional finance and digital assets through stablecoin payments. Fintech company Rain.xyz builds infrastructure for stablecoin-powered payments. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to a Layer 1 network designed to power global transactions through USDT and PYUSD: Stable.xyz.
Stable.xyz is the online home of Stable, a Layer 1 blockchain network designed to move stablecoins efficiently at scale. According to Stable.xyz, the network is powered by USDT (Tether), a U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin, and built as a “stablechain,” meaning it uses stablecoins as its core transaction asset instead of volatile tokens. The network features sub-second block finality and gas-free peer-to-peer USDT transfers, aiming to make stablecoin transactions faster and more cost-effective for both individuals and institutions. In July 2025, Stable announced a $28M seed round led by Bitfinex and Hack VC, with participation from Franklin Templeton, Castle Island Ventures, Nascent, and others. 1In September 2025, the company shared that PayPal Ventures (the global venture arm of PayPal) joined the round.2
As highlighted in its documentation, Stable is designed to address growing demand for faster and more reliable digital payments. With over $150B in USDT in circulation worldwide, the project positions itself as purpose-built infrastructure for stablecoin transfers, settlement, and issuance. Stable’s architecture features an Ethereum-compatible virtual machine, delegated proof-of-stake consensus, and upcoming capabilities such as guaranteed blockspace for enterprises and confidential transfers that balance privacy with compliance. These features are intended to make stablecoin transactions practical for everyday users, merchants, and financial institutions as stablecoins continue to play a larger role in online payments. Stable will integrate PayPal USD (PYUSD), PayPal’s U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin, into its blockchain to support cross-border transactions.3
Founder and CEO Joshua Harding leads Stable’s efforts to modernize digital payment infrastructure and expand stablecoin utility. Under his leadership, the project has drawn participation from both crypto-native and traditional finance investors. According to event materials shared by Korea Blockchain Week, Harding represented Stable at the IMPACT conference in Seoul in September 2025, highlighting the company’s participation within the international blockchain and fintech community.4
Stable’s choice of the domain name Stable.xyz aligns with the network’s focus on simplicity and recognition. The short and memorable domain provides a clear online home for the project’s documentation, roadmap, and updates. Using .xyz places Stable among a global community of blockchain and financial innovators leveraging the extension to represent forward-looking ideas in the evolving digital economy. You can learn more by following the platform on LinkedIn @stablexyz and X/Twitter, and by visiting Stable.xyz.
