TL;DR
- Twyne.xyz is the online home of Twyne, a DeFi credit delegation protocol designed to help lenders earn additional yield from unused borrowing capacity while giving borrowers access to more credit.
- In August 2026, Twyne raised $2.5M in seed funding co-led by cyber Fund and Ethereal Ventures.
Twyne.xyz Overview
- What: Twyne is a credit delegation protocol that they state operates on top of DeFi lending markets including Aave and Euler.
- Why: According to Twyne’s documentation, lenders can have borrowing capacity they are not using, while borrowers can face limits on how much leverage they can access. Twyne says they connect that unused capacity with borrowers seeking additional credit.
- How: Borrowers access delegated credit through isolated vaults, while creditors’ assets remain deposited in the underlying lending market.
- Where: Twyne is based in Tallinn, Estonia, according to Estonia’s Business Register.
Company Updates
- In 2026, the Arbitrum Foundation selected Twyne for the first cohort of its Mentorship Program, which included 13 teams from more than 900 applicants.
How Twyne.xyz Works
- Creditors deposit assets into a lending market such as Aave or Euler and delegate unused borrowing capacity. Their assets remain in the underlying market and continue earning lending yield, while the delegated capacity can generate additional yield.
- Borrowers reserve delegated credit through isolated vaults, which can provide additional leverage or increase their liquidation threshold.
- Twyne states that its liquidation system is designed to resolve liquidations internally before falling back to the underlying lending market.
- The protocol builds on Euler Finance’s EVC and EVK infrastructure, which Twyne says helps limit the amount of custom code introduced by the protocol.
Venture Funding
- FinSMEs, August 2026: Twyne raised $2.5M in seed funding, co-led by cyber Fund and Ethereal Ventures, with participation from Euler, Daedalus, and a syndicate of web3 angel investors.
