.xyz quickly became a reality. Daniel finished the ICANN application and submitted it for approval. ICANN issued .xyz a prioritization of #1458 and expect our application approval by August 2013. Given our experience launching another domain extension, .xyz will be ready for registrations immediately after delegation in 2014.
