Side.xyz is a platform introducing what it describes as the first AI-Agent-Marketing infrastructure for web3. The platform is designed to help projects build engaged communities by automating rewards, analyzing on-chain and off-chain behavior, and filtering out bots or spammers. According to its documentation, Side.xyz simplifies Web3 marketing by combining AI automation with data insights. Projects create a token-based reward pool, integrate the AI-Agent into platforms such as Telegram, and define the behaviors they want to incentivize. The AI-Agent then monitors community activity, distributes daily micro-airdrops, and announces rewards in real time. These functions are designed to encourage behaviors such as token holding, participation in group discussions, and content creation. The platform also employs multiple bot-detection measures, aiming to ensure that incentives benefit real contributors rather than spammers. SIDE positions these offerings as an alternative to short-term approaches that rely on vanity metrics.
Side.xyz is co-founded by Tugan Bara and Niko Apollo. Together, Tugan and Niko co-authored the book Token Titans: How to Build Experiences, Communities and Protocols. 1 As shared in their Amazon author bios, Tugan is an educator and contrarian thinker in the French marketing space who has taught tens of thousands of entrepreneurs and helped create several tech startups, including AI-powered content repurposing tool, sales funnel platform Frog, and content creator platform Bonzai. He transitioned into web3 in 2019 and has since worked on community-focused projects, most recently Side.xyz. Niko’s background includes scaling e-learning companies with global partners before applying similar methods to web3 marketing and operations.
