Exploring the science behind Nine Diagnostics

The website explores Nine Diagnostics’ approach to functional precision medicine through its AI-enabled nanosensor platform. According to the company, the technology combines carbon nanotube nanosensors with machine learning to analyze molecular signatures in blood samples, aiming to measure treatment effectiveness and identify new biomarkers. He serves as a Research Fellow at the MIT Office of Innovation and Director of the MIT Catalyst Scholars Program, and was selected as a 2025 Scholar in Diagnostic Excellence by the National Academy of Medicine, one of 11 individuals nationwide chosen for the program.2 3 As stated on Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s website, Dr. Heller is a member of its Molecular Pharmacology Program and leads the Cancer Nanomedicine Laboratory, which focuses on nanotechnologies for cancer diagnosis and treatment.4 According to Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor whose research is focused on developing nanosensor technology for cancer research and early disease detection.5 Dr. Kim has also been named a STAT Wunderkind and an MIT Technology Review Innovator Under 35 for her nanosensor cancer detection research.
