TRex.xyz – GoDaddy customer – (Hong Kong)
Blockchain pioneers use .xyz domains to launch forward‑thinking projects. Crypto startup GTE.xyz develops decentralized exchange infrastructure on MegaETH for onchain trading. Liquidity distribution platform Turtle.xyz coordinates incentives for participants across the DeFi ecosystem. Decentralized storage platform Walrus.xyz launches with scalable data recovery and verification tools. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to a blockchain ecosystem designed to build multi-dimensional user Personas and reshape value distribution across web3: TRex.xyz.
TRex.xyz is the online home of T-Rex, a blockchain ecosystem developed by Everest Ventures Group (EVG). According to its litepaper, T-Rex introduces the concept of the Value Graph, which represents people on-chain as multi-dimensional participants rather than one-dimensional wallets. This model expands beyond balances to include identity, reputation, and preferences, while still allowing users to choose how they are represented. In May 2025, T-Rex announced a $17M fundraise led by investors including Portal Ventures, Framework Ventures, North Island Ventures, and Arbitrum Gaming Ventures. The announcement also introduced an $8M Incubation Fund to support ecosystem growth.1
As highlighted in the T-Rex FAQ and litepaper, the project is designed to address inefficiencies in value distribution across web3, including inactive communities, token drawdowns, and imbalances in decision-making power. Its framework introduces multi-dimensional Personas defined by five dimensions: demographics, assets, social reputation, interests, and knowledge. These Personas evolve over time and are enriched by Proof-of-Engagement, which records actions such as sharing content or participating in governance. The T-Rex Chain, described as a Layer-2 network built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack, provides the infrastructure for this approach. It is designed to handle high-frequency engagement and privacy-preserving verification, while feeding insights back into what T-Rex refers to as its Intelligence Flywheel.
T-Rex is co-founded by members of EVG, including Joyce Yim. Joyce is Chief Strategy Officer at EVG and previously held roles as Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff. Before joining EVG, she worked as a corporate associate at Linklaters in Hong Kong and Shanghai, where she contributed to Hong Kong’s first Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) listing, a process in which a shell company raises capital through an initial public offering (IPO) with the goal of acquiring or merging with another company. Her combined legal and strategic background informs her role in guiding T-Rex’s development and ecosystem growth.
The choice of TRex.xyz for their digital presence reflects the project’s focus on creating a broad entry point for developers, creators, and everyday internet users. The short and memorable .xyz domain positions T-Rex within a namespace often associated with innovation and next-generation internet projects. The domain functions as a central hub for learning about the Value Graph, exploring technical documentation, and engaging with the project’s ecosystem. You can learn more by following the project on X/Twitter and by visiting TRex.xyz.
