Head over to the Audio option under the Media menu to listen to Evan’s featured saxophone performances, such as “Improvisation et Caprice (1952)” and “Italian Concerto, BWV. 971 (1735).” You can hover over the “Projects” menu option to learn more about research projects such as Bolcom’s Lilith. Evan provides a description of the project, which investigates the musical constructions of gender and sexuality in Lilith (1984) for alto saxophone and piano by William Bolcom. He also includes YouTube videos of performances that contribute to the project. Evan’s teaching page includes an option to reach out to him for saxophone lessons, a masterclass, or a middle/high school clinic. He also provides resources in music education. He shares that his goal is to “help my students access the mental focus, physical ability and emotional capacity required in the learning and synthesis of music performance in classical and jazz traditions.” With Evan’s inclusion of his Repertoire page, visitors can see a full list of Evan’s performance experience, which can help them understand his range.
