Web3 company TAIKAI Labs rebranded to LayerX.xyz with a focus on connecting web3 developers and organizations to create innovative solutions. After our previous post about crypto-focused web3 platform Prysm.xyz, we learned that its founding team, composed of former financial strategy manager Thomas Scaria and software engineer Shelby Thomas, opted to pivot, rebrand, and take their platform in an exciting new direction. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to their newly rebranded web3 platform focused on collaboration and co-ownership: Lore.xyz.
Lore.xyz is a new web3 platform that aims to serve as an engine for culture creation and curation. The platform helps groups work together, pool their resources, and co-own digital assets, like NFTs. Aimed at disrupting standard methods of culture creation, Lore.xyz is designed to help people work together to create something new and exciting. Creating culture has historically been a top-down process where brands or organizations shape and spread cultural values, beliefs, and practices. They leverage pop culture, including memes, to shape and spread a specific lifestyle that resonates with people. Early adopters accrue status, but brands profit the most. This can lead to the creation of subcultures that people participate in, but also has the potential for the mainstream culture to appropriate them. Lore.xyz uses web3, collaboration, and NFTs to create new models of ownership and recognition. As members connect, chat, and create together, they form a shared language and culture. This is what Lore.xyz calls “lore,” and it’s the basis of the platform.

Brooklyn-based startup PizzaTime.xyz helps the growing number of remote organizations quickly and easily facilitate catering and virtual experiences for its teams. Atlanta-based media company Offbeat.xyz is aimed at creating media for the digital generation, with clients such as McDonald’s and Netflix. Natural wine sellers PlantsAnimals.xyz highlight their delivery service for customers in the Seattle, WA area. In this week’s #WebsiteWednesday, we’ll introduce you to a private gym aimed at building community: Ghost.xyz.
Ghost.xyz is the online home of Ghost, a private gym located in Brooklyn, New York. The “home for wellness” features a modern and innovative space and offers a unique blend of health and hospitality. In addition to helping members with tailored workouts, Ghost fosters an environment where members can also socialize, connect, and create. Ghost.xyz states that they “train the creative, entrepreneurial and professional leaders of New York City.”
Ghost has an extensive vetting process for interested members. Founder Aqib Mamoon conducts preliminary consultations with each client to learn about their needs and unique physiology. The wellness managers and training team then work together to design a program that is tailored to the individual. As stated on the Consult page, the gym believes that no two clients are the same. They use the 20-30 minute consultation process to develop a personal relationship with each client.

In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to an NFT platform aimed at providing users with a new tool for generating AI-powered animated avatars: Revel.xyz.
Revel.xyz is an NFT-focused social collectibles platform that helps users to create collectible NFTs for their followers, friends, and communities. The platform blends the features of social media with investing and trading platforms. Revel.xyz leverages “social game economics” to manage economic concepts like supply and demand, and inflation. The platform has attracted influential content creators like Cyrus Dobre, who has over 10 million followers on TikTok. In December 2022, Revel.xyz raised $7.8 million in seed financing led by Dragonfly Capital.1 On March 29, 2023, Revel.xyz and leading open-source generative AI company Stability AI announced the launch of Animai, a consumer animation tool powered by Stability AI’s animation technology.2

Revel.xyz’s animation tool Animai is powered by Stability AI’s advanced animation technology, and helps users to create animated avatars with a single photo.
