According to KOMPETE.Game, the platform currently includes four Early Access games: Blitz Royale, a battle royale featuring exosuits, respawns, customizable player attributes, and drone-deployed items; Kart Race, a kart racing game featuring drifting, nitro boosts, weapons, utility items, and customizable racer attributes; Coin Pusher, a virtual arcade game where players drop coins to push them off the edge and win prizes; and Golf, a multiplayer golf game featuring competitive play across a variety of courses. As reported by gaming news website PlayToEarn, KOMPETE Golf launched on July 1, 2026, for PC, iOS, and Android, expanding KOMPETE’s lineup of competitive multiplayer game modes.1
The company website states that Justin Meister, also known as Dastro, founded Modernize Games in September 2020. Justin started the studio in La Jolla, California, after repeated frustration with the state of sports gaming, including being charged full price for what he considered a broken NBA2K experience. The company states its mission is to “create free multiplayer games with no barriers to entry that are accessible on any device, to anyone in the world, at any given time, while creating a fun, repeatable, gameplay loop with superb technical performance.”
As KOMPETE expands with additional multiplayer experiences, KOMPETE.Game gives the platform a descriptive, instantly recognizable address that tells players exactly what to expect before they even click. Fortune-featured Icebreaker.xyz introduces a trust-based professional network for AI-driven environments. Crypto payment platform AEON.xyz, by former Binance and Google team members, develops payment infrastructure for AI-driven transactions. In this week’s #AIMonday, we’ll introduce you to an open source collaboration workspace where human and AI agent teams work together in shared channels: Buzz.xyz.
Buzz.xyz is the online home of Buzz, a collaboration platform released by Block.xyz, the company co-founded by Jack Dorsey that also operates Square, Cash App, Afterpay, and Tidal. According to Block’s announcement, Buzz is built on Nostr, a decentralized protocol for signed messages and portable identities. The platform includes channels, threads, direct messages, voice, media sharing, code repositories, and automated workflows, and Block describes the interface as similar to existing team communication tools.1 As reported by TechCrunch, Buzz is positioned as an alternative to workplace messaging platform Slack and code hosting platform GitHub.2 Buzz is released under an Apache-2.0 license, with its code available on GitHub, and Block’s desktop app is available now for macOS, Windows, and Linux.3 4
According to Block, AI agents in Buzz hold their own cryptographic identities and defined permissions and can post, review code, run approved automations, and participate in workflows alongside human teammates rather than only responding to direct commands.5 Block describes Buzz as model-agnostic and agent-agnostic, so teams can connect agents built on different underlying models or agent harnesses, including Claude Code, Codex, and goose.6 7 Block’s engineering blog states that each agent’s owner signs a scoped authorization. The agent then signs its own contributions with its own identity, so revoking an agent’s access does not require changing the credentials of the human who authorized it.8 According to Block’s engineering blog, Buzz stores repositories as content-addressed packfiles with a single mutable pointer. The blog states this approach was built to handle a high volume of simultaneous commits and CI activity.9 Buzz is designed to route an agent’s model requests through another community member’s hardware, so a team can share computing capacity without sending prompts through Buzz’s own server.10
Buzz was announced by Twitter and Block co-founder Jack Dorsey, who described the platform on X as “model-agnostic, decentralized, self-sovereign, and open source.”11 Bradley Axen, Head of AI Capabilities at Block, said the company built Buzz because it believes a shared workspace for humans and agents “should be open,” rather than proprietary.12 The Block engineering blog post introducing Buzz was written by Tyler Longwell, who describes his role at Block as building multi-player AI. Tyler states he previously helped build the company’s first Slack-integrated AI agent before working on Buzz.13
The platform launches as a new collaboration platform from Block, the company co-founded by Jack Dorsey. According to Bradley Axen, Block’s Head of AI Capabilities, the platform is built around the idea that a shared workspace for humans and AI agents should be open by design rather than proprietary. Its approach to agent identity, where each agent holds its own cryptographic signature and scoped permissions, reflects Block’s stated goal of treating agents as participants rather than background tools. A generic domain extension like .xyz is not tied to any one industry, and has become a common choice among AI and deep tech ventures building outside traditional categories. Block has chosen .xyz for four of its properties that we know of: Block.xyz as its own primary domain for the Fortune 500 parent company, web3 initiatives Spiral.xyz and Proto.xyz, and now collaboration platform Buzz.xyz. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to a decentralized exchange designed for tokenized stocks and perpetual futures: Arcus.xyz.
Arcus.xyz is the online home of Arcus, a decentralized exchange developed by the team behind the dYdX.xyz decentralized exchange. The platform was launched in partnership with Robinhood and now runs on Robinhood Chain, Robinhood’s blockchain network. According to the dYdX Foundation, the original dYdX blockchain remains separate, community-owned, and continues to operate independently.1 According to Arcus.xyz, the platform is designed to bring tokenized stocks and perpetual futures together in a self-custodied trading experience. As reported by The Defiant, Arcus launched in July 2026 and supports tokenized equities.2 Arcus has since launched perpetual futures trading in beta, expanding into equities, exchange-traded funds, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.3
As reported by Cointelegraph, Arcus offers around-the-clock trading with no fees on more than 95 tokenized stocks, spanning equities, exchange-traded funds, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.4 The partnership connects Arcus to Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ: HOOD), the parent company of Robinhood Crypto, which reported 27.7 million funded customers and $377B in total platform assets at the end of May 2026, according to the company’s investor relations disclosures.5 Arcus combines blockchain technology with digital versions of real-world financial assets, so users can trade while keeping control of their own holdings. As reported by crypto news publication Crypto Briefing, Arcus is available in more than 120 countries but excludes users in the US, Canada, and the UK. Spot trading is currently open to eligible users, and the platform is in the process of rolling out perpetual futures trading, with plans to eventually cover equities, cryptocurrencies, commodities, and market indices.6
dYdX founder Antonio Juliano launched dYdX in 2017 after working as a software engineer at cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and ride-hailing company Uber, according to his 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 profile.7 Eddie Zhang, CEO and founder of Arcus, originally joined dYdX through its 2025 acquisition of his software company, Pocket Protector, where his team began building the foundation for Arcus.89
Arcus enters the market backed by a founding team with roots in decentralized finance, including Antonio Juliano’s founding of dYdX, and a partnership with Robinhood Crypto, the cryptocurrency arm of Robinhood, tied to tokenized equities and perpetual futures trading. Arcus.xyz joins dYdX.xyz in the .xyz community, reflecting the extension’s adoption among blockchain and deep tech projects. NineDiagnostics.xyz is the online home of Nine Diagnostics, a biotechnology company developing what it describes as “AI-enabled nanosensor technology” for functional precision medicine. According to the website, the company’s platform is designed to determine treatment effectiveness and discover new biology by analyzing molecular patterns from blood samples, with potential applications in oncology and drug development. In June 2026, the company announced it has been selected for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation’s InVEST Program, which the foundation describes as providing “a $50,000 investment to support any new company started by Damon Runyon alumni or current Clinical Investigators or Rachleff-Innovators.”
The website explores Nine Diagnostics’ approach to functional precision medicine through its AI-enabled nanosensor platform. According to the company, the technology combines carbon nanotube nanosensors with machine learning to analyze molecular signatures in blood samples, aiming to measure treatment effectiveness and identify new biomarkers.
