Tempo is led by Matt Huang, co-founder and managing partner of Paradigm.xyz, who also serves as a board member at Stripe. In a September 4, 2025 article on Fortune Crypto, it was reported that Matt Huang will continue his role at Paradigm.xyz while directing the development of Tempo, supported by an initial team of about 15 employees. Currently, Sathar represents both an artistic identity and a fictional entity he describes as a humanoid figure marked by insect-like antennae and a third eye.
