NoodleFactory.xyz is the personal website of Creative Director Alexis Copeland. Also known as “Noodle Factory,” the Microsoft designer shares on her website that her moniker stems from her long noodle-like hair, noodle-like arms, and noodle-like ideas. She shares that most of all,, it comes from her love of Andy Warhol’s Factory, a famous hangout spot for artists, musicians, and celebrities, and known for its popular parties in the 1960s. Early in life, Alexis’ love of art helped her navigate a challenging childhood in the US child welfare system. She found a sense of home within the arts community at her high school, and later went on to attend Ringling College of Art and Design. Now, as an art director, Alexis’ greatest skill and joy is unlocking the power of art and design in the lives of others, as it once did for her. “Let inspiration find you working,” a modified quote from Picasso, is Alexis’s creative motto.
At Microsoft, Alexis builds executive presentations and leads the branding of consumer products such as HoloLens 2, an augmented reality headset developed and manufactured by Microsoft. Alexis works to elevate the aesthetics of art and design for the Microsoft brand and its Fluent design language. Alexis shares that her style is bold, complex, and conceptually driven, with 3D design as her primary image-making tool. Alexis believes that success is shared ownership, and that nuance in creative collaboration is key.
Alexis’ projects are easy to explore with a simple and informative website design. NoodleFactory.xyz features a gallery of Alexis’ Microsoft projects as well as her unique design collaborations. For a more detailed experience, click on the thumbnail to see each project with a full description, such as the illustration project titled Miso Eats Noodles. Alexis’ favorite creative collaborator reached out for help creating the children’s book, which is about a cat named Miso who teaches diversity through food from around the world.
You can click on Pride to learn about her work on an opportunity to support and lift Microsoft’s LGTQIA+ community with a theme design in Outlook and Office. The project became a large community–driven effort across Microsoft to authentically celebrate inclusive company values directly in their products. This included the design of a discussion space for queer employees and allies to speak out for the community in a Q&A forum, as well as imagery that was scaled to fit each of their social channels.
Selecting a memorable domain name like NoodleFactory.xyz is beneficial because it’s easier to remember, repeat, and type. Innovative creatives recognize that their website URL is an opportunity to differentiate themselves and make a lasting impression on potential clients and collaborators. With NoodleFactory.xyz, Alexis has a domain name that sticks in potential users’ minds because it’s unique and fun. She uses her memorable .xyz domain to control her online presence and highlight everything she wishes to showcase to the world. “In this market and even personally, your domain is level 1 to how people and businesses see you. We offer support, consultation and several other Security services to small companies and startups so the Startup.Security gets right out in front and gives the reader a good idea of who we are right away. It’s something we are really appreciative of, that we are no longer bound to legacy TLDs and thanks to companies like XYZ we can now be expressive of our message, starting from the domain.”
– Rob de Céspedes, Chief Information Security Officer, Startup.Security
“Tribes is a web3 messenger for everything from DMs to DAOs, and because we’re crypto-native, we’re a bit different than the apps people are used to. So when we thought about where we’d like our online home to be, we wanted a domain that’d help tell the story that we’re something new, something different. XYZ felt just right for that.”
– Hish Bouabdallah, Founder and CEO, Tribes.xyz

Immortal.Game – Vercel customer – (France)
Web3 game developers are using .xyz and XYZ Registry domains like .Game, .LOL, and .Quest, to build innovative blockchain-based games. Ethereum-based exploration game Sipher.xyz is centered around customizable NFT characters within a vast online universe. Strategy game Wolf.Game is a cunning NFT adventure centered around sheep and wolves. NFT artist and game developer Daniil Dolia’s DoliaCats.xyz provides Dolia Cat NFT holders access to the Meowverse, a community that incorporates games, a decentralized finance platform, and more. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to a web3 take on the classic game of chess: Immortal.Game.
Immortal.Game is the online home of Immortal Game, a tech startup introducing the game of chess to web3 through the implementation of NFTs, a marketplace, and play-to-earn (P2E) rewards (which grants players an opportunity to earn real-world assets while playing). Immortal.Game has raised $15.5 million in funding, including a $12 million round in July 2022. Participating investment firms include TCG Crypto and Kevin Durant’s 35 Ventures.1
Founded in 2021, Immortal Game developed a specialized chess gaming portal that offers the classic game as well as blockchain-based extras. The platform is still in beta, but interested chess players can create an account, choose four chess pieces from inventory and begin playing with an opponent. Immortal.Game designed the chess pieces to represent traditional chess pieces, such as pawns, bishops, and knights. The game releases 30 new pieces per day. There are 50,000 registered players with 5,000 active players per week. In addition to the game at hand, there are side quests, such as “Win with at least 1 of my knights remaining.” If you win your game and manage to complete some side quests, you can earn crypto rewards. Players can visit the marketplace to trade their NFT chess pieces of varying rarity for ETH. Immortal.Game’s P2E system is optional for those who just wish to play chess without using crypto.
As the platform grows, Immortal.Game aims to introduce league tournaments and new game modes. As shared in the press, co-founder and CEO Thomas Zaepffel intends to continue using web3 technology to evolve the traditional board game. He states, “Chess is a centuries-old game that benefits from this technology, preserving its heritage while attracting a new group of players.” We are inspired by Thomas’ innovative and fresh take on chess, and look forward to seeing future developments. You can learn more by following the game on Twitter @TheImmortalGame, Instagram @immortalgam, joining the Discord, and by visiting Immortal.Game.

Culture3.xyz – Google Domains customer – (United Kingdom)
Blockchain-focused pioneers are using .xyz domains to help promote the innovations and possibilities of web3. Tech startup JoinClutch.xyz is aimed at humanizing crypto and empowering more women to enter web3. Forbes-featured artist Brandon Tory’s Formless.xyz leverages blockchain technology to change the way music and other digital content is valued and distributed. Social networking platform Lore.xyz works to connect amateur and experienced crypto investors. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to a platform aimed at exploring what web3 contributes to culture, commerce, and society: Culture3.xyz.
Culture3.xyz is the online home of Culture3, a media platform designed to explore the impact of blockchains, the metaverse, artificial intelligence, and the changing evolution of the internet. The platform aims to exhibit the best of web3 culture to help steer the narrative and ensure its reception is positive. Culture3.xyz is founded by world-renowned Black Lives Matter (BLM) protest photographer, entrepreneur, and social activist Misan Harriman, who also serves as Editor-in-Chief. Nigerian-born Misan is one of the most widely-shared photographers of the BLM movement, and the first Black man to photograph a cover of British Vogue in the magazine’s 104-year history.1
Misan and his team use Culture3.xyz to celebrate three primary aspects of web3 culture: the creative vitality of web3 artistry, innovative web3 builders, and the communities being developed on web3. On the homepage, select the Artistry option to read features exploring the many cultural mediums being redefined by web3. Check out Art or Abomination, an exploration of the discourse around Artificial Intelligence (AI) creative tools like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Lensa’s AI selfie app. You can also select Conversation with David Jones to learn about the internationally best-selling author and poet who is now creating poetry NFTs and who believes AI is going to “revitalize the literary world.” The Builders page is where you can learn about the ways that web3 is re-wiring various industries. You can read posts like How Play-to-Earn gaming can thrive in web3, written by Forbes-featured author Greg Larson2, which dives into the crypto gaming industry and the play-to-earn (P2E) gaming trend. Visit the Communities page for a wide assortment of posts that highlight how web3 is changing the ways that people collaborate. The feature Why 2023 will be the year of PROOF is a conversation with Amanda (also known as akaStevey on Twitter), the head of Culture and Community at Proof.xyz. What began as the online home for venture capitalist Kevin Rose’s NFT-focused podcast has grown into a private art community of 1,000 NFT collectors and artists, with projects like Moonbirds.xyz and Oddities.xyz.
The media platform recently upgraded their domain from Culture3.com to the memorably rhyming Culture3.xyz. As VP Operations Leo Nasskau told us, “We built on .xyz because it is, alongside ‘connect wallet’, the primary icon of web3 that crypto-natives expect to see. Without it, our rhetoric about believing in what web3 can achieve would ring hollow.” We are inspired by Culture3’s interest in educating the public about web3, and amplifying the talent, innovation, and artistry within. You can learn more by following the platform on Twitter @culture3xyz and by visiting Culture3.xyz.
